Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SavePage.io website and API ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

SavePage.io provides a RESTful API for capturing website screenshots. The Service renders web pages in a headless browser and returns screenshot images.

2. Account Registration

To use the API, you must create an account and obtain an API key. You are responsible for keeping your API key secure. Do not share your API key or embed it in client-side code.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Capture screenshots of illegal content
• Circumvent access controls on websites
• Scrape or harvest data from websites at scale
• Generate screenshots for phishing or fraud
• Overload or interfere with the Service infrastructure
• Resell API access without authorization

4. Rate Limits and Quotas

Each plan has defined rate limits and monthly quotas. Exceeding these limits will result in temporary throttling. Repeated abuse may result in account suspension.

5. Free Plan

The free plan provides 100 screenshots per month at no cost. The free plan is intended for personal projects, testing, and evaluation. We reserve the right to modify free plan limits with 30 days notice.

6. Paid Plans

Paid plans are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time. Refunds are not provided for partial months. Plan changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

7. Screenshot Storage

Screenshots are stored on our CDN for the duration specified by your plan (24 hours for Free, 30 days for Pro). We are not responsible for screenshots that are deleted after the retention period expires.

8. API Availability

We aim for 99.9% API uptime for Pro and Enterprise plans. The free plan does not include an uptime guarantee. We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts service with advance notice when possible.

9. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to screenshots captured through the API. We do not claim ownership of captured content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to capture screenshots of any given website.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to lost data, lost revenue, or service interruptions.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your API key will be revoked and stored screenshots will be deleted.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email.
